Calling all skateboard and beer lovers! If you’re looking for a place to combine two of your favourite passions, this Ontario brewery is the spot to be.
Northwinds Brewhouse and Kitchen, located in both Collingwood and Blue Mountain, has amazing food and even better brews.
If you want to sample one of their many beers, you can order their normal beer flight, where you can choose any four beers and sample them in 5 oz pours for $12.
However, if you’re feeling more adventurous, you’ll probably want to opt-in to their skate flight. For $38 you can sample 14 5 oz beers, and the best part is, it’s served to you on a skateboard.
Better shared with a friend or two, this paddle comes out on four wheels and lets you sample even more suds from the local brewhouse.
Some of their flavours on the menu include Monkey Suit, which is an Irish Stout with a touch of chocolate.
You can also give their Barrel Jam a try, which is aged in a 3-month bourbon barrel with hints of maple, chocolate and fig.
Of course, you’ll want to sample some of their food while you’re visiting as well.
Their Nashville Hot Chicken Mac & Cheese is a must-try, with aged cheddar cheese sauce, topped with crispy fried chicken dunked in their Nashville Butter Hot Sauce.
You can also give their Taco Beef Nachos a try, with layers of taco beef, pickled jalapenos, pico de Gallo, cheddar and jack cheese, topped with sour cream and guacamole.
If you’re looking for another Ontario brewery, you can also check out Beertown Public House, which is located in a variety of spots around Ontario.
They offer a Beermageddon Paddletron 3000, which is a massive plank that comes with 30 different 5 oz pours.
