Next time you’re craving a cold beer, this local Niagara brewery is a spot that you won’t want to miss. Silversmith Brewing Company is located in a historic church that dates back to the 1890s and is the perfect place to grab a late lunch or dinner.

With a high vaulted ceiling, stained glass windows and even church pews, this little spot on Niagara Stone Road will transport you back in time.

While you take in history, you can also choose from an endless list of hand-crafted brews. You can get them by the glass, and also take some home in both bottles and cans.

The spot will always have something new to try with its ever-changing seasonal flavours.

Right now, some of their current collection includes the black lager, breakfast wheat, born again lager and the dam buster.

However, this local place does more than just beer, and you can fill up on a selection of burgers and sandwiches.

Their menu, which is partnered with the popular oddBird kitchen, serves up different combos of their famous fried chicken sandwiches, smash burgers, fried avocado sandwiches and even buckets of fried chicken.

You can pair your food with some mouthwatering sides including tater tots (my favourite), and side slaw.

If you’re looking for an early morning visit, the spot also does brunch on Sunday from 11 to 3 p.m. where you can chow down on Monte Cristos, Nashville hot chicken on buttermilk pancakes, a fried avocado sandwich, and french toast.

If you’re not a fan of beer before 5 p.m. you can also sip on their brunch mimosa spritzer.

If you’re looking for another Niagara brewery to visit, you can also check out Tipsy Theory’s ultimate tour guide for local brews in the area.

Including both hidden and popular spots like the Exchange Brewery and Wayne Gretzky Estates, you’ll be sipping on suds all day long.
