Grab your baskets! One Niagara orchard will let you pick your own peaches and it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon this summer.
Parkway Orchards, located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, lets you wander through their abundance of fruit trees and pick some delicious snacks on your own.
If you’re looking for peaches, the season starts this July 15 and will go until the beginning of September. Yellow plums can also be picked at the same time.
Both fruits are great for snacking or adding to a fruit crumble or other baking treats.
According to the company’s website, you can also grab some nectarines between August 15 and September 15. And apples are also available from September 10 until October 15.
Not only can you grab some tasty fruit, but it’s also the perfect place to take a few cute photos. With stunning lines of fruit trees to wander through, every spot has the perfect angle.

Currently, tickets to the orchard are $4 per person and the price of peaches will be $3.50 a pound. Yellow plums will be $5 per pound.
The orchard warns that everything is dependent on the weather and demand, so there are no guarantees on any given day.
However, you can call in advance before you head down to pick your own peaches. The orchard is open every day of the week, but hours vary depending on how many people visit and how much fruit is picked each day.
