Calling all sweet tooths! A huge maple syrup festival is happening across PEC this month, and it is filled with so much sweet goodness.
The PEC March Maple Madness Event takes place every Saturday and Sunday in March, and you’ll be able to visit many local spots.
Designed to celebrate local Prince Edward County businesses, sugar bushes, and all things maple, you’ll get to try multiple sweet creations and participate in many activities.
Many businesses are offering creative foods or drinks that will really highlight maple syrup. You get to choose which spots you want to try throughout the month and can visit as many as your heart desires.
Some must-try creations to add to your list this year include a maple-inspired pizza from 555 Brewing Co.
Wild Lot Distillery will be serving up many maple cocktails, including a maple hot toddy. With your drink, you can enjoy a maple bacon BLT sandwich or some maple-themed soups.
You also won’t want to miss Gillingham Brewery, which is releasing its Maple Theme Beer for the season!

Dozens of local spots are participating in the massive maple syrup event in PEC, including sugar bushes, wineries, breweries, restaurants, hotels and more.
Some spots also have local activities for you to enjoy. Waupoos Estates Winery is offering wagon rides to the sugar bush, where you get to try some fresh-made taffy on the snow!
Justin’s Maple Syrup will let you take a self-guided tour through their Maple woods, where you can see how their maple syrup is produced.
