It’s time to get retro with vinyl in the vineyard this summer. Schatz Winery, located in Zurich, is the place to be this season if you’re a music lover.
Every Wednesday night from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m., the vineyard has teamed up with Music Central Entertainment to put on a show. All you have to do is show up and bring a blanket to get comfy at the estate.
The vinyl night is set to happen once a week until the end of the summer, so you have plenty of time to enjoy it.
With whites, reds, sparkling and rosé, there are tons of wines you can choose from to sip on while listening to the tunes.
You can also stop by on another day to do a tasting or grab something to eat.
The property has a restaurant called The Muse, where you can enjoy some food on their sprawling patio.
Suggested for you!
Some options include a white bean curry, pork schnitzel, club sandwich and stir-fry.
If you’re just looking for some small bites, you can nibble on their charcuterie or cheese board, along with some bruschetta and their daily flatbread.
For desserts, you can also choose from their German cheesecake, strawberry sorbet or chocolate mousse. All options are sure to leave your mouth watering.
The winery is also connected to the Hessenland Inn, where you can book a room that overlooks the vineyards and make a whole weekend out of your stay.
This isn’t the only winery that does vinyl in the vineyard. Cave Spring Vineyard, located in the Niagara region also puts on music nights.
They have shows happening on select dates throughout the summer and will feature DJ Tanner. The next event is happening on Saturday, July 23.
