If you’re looking for a way to cool down this summer, one Niagara winery is offering some mouthwatering wine floats.
Back 10 Cellars, located in Beamsville, is offering the sweetest treat this season. The estate turned their popular Smitten bubbly into a custom gelato, that is then topped with some ice-cold wine.
You can choose between their Smitten or Smitten Pink to be mixed in with the gelato, turning it into the perfect float.
The Smitten is a Riesling that has aromas of melon, apple and pear, while the Smitten Pink is made with 100% Pinot Noir and has striking aromas of macaron, wild strawberry, orange zest and lemon rind.
You can sip on the amazing drink every day on their sprawling outdoor patios, including the Smitten Summerhouse, which is an adorable covered area.
However, wine floats aren’t the only fun drink you can enjoy at Back 10 Cellars. They are also offering their Smitten Spritz, which is a Niagara version of Aperol Spritz in a can.

You can also join the winery for a classic tasting this year, or book a picnic lunch. You can get Sunday Brunch Boxes which come with croissants, mini bagels, fresh fruit of more.
Or, you can grab some lunch, including a smoked turkey sandwich on olive oil potato bread, quinoa salad and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert.
If you’re looking to picnic, 24 hours advance notice is needed, and it costs $23.95 per person.
If you’re looking for wineries to visit in Niagara this summer, Back 10 Cellars isn’t the only place to check out. Tipsy Theory has released the ultimate guide to some of the best vineyards across the region.
Others include Between the Lines, Colaneri Estate Winery, Small Talk Vineyards and more (some even have food menus, including wood-fired pizzas).
