If you’re looking for a new go-to cocktail spot, you might want to head down to Essex County. The 2021 Tourism Awards were just revealed and Wolfhead Distillery won the “art of a cocktail.” By looking at some of their amazing drinks, it’s no surprise why they were able to take home the title.
Established in 2016, this local distillery has a variety of Vodka and Whisky flavoured spirits that you can choose from.
Some of their vodka flavours include banana caramel and grapefruit. You can also get a taste of both coffee and apple caramel whiskey as well.
Not only can you take a bottle home with you, but you can also try some amazing cocktail recipes that the company has concocted.
On their Instagram page, the company boasts a bunch of mouth-watering drinks (some with recipes that you can even try making from home) such as the Pink Peach drink, which features their grapefruit vodka, cranberry juice and peach bubbly.
Not only can you pop into Wolfhead Distillery to try a few drinks, but they also have a farm-to-table menu if you find you’re getting a bit hungry.
You can feast on some classic burgers, as well as more unique items like the Apple Chicken Brie Panini.
While you’re in Essex County, you can also check out Tipsy Theory’s latest blog on some of the best wineries in the region. Including one local gem that sits on a tiny island in Lake Erie. The spot is so hidden that you need to take a ferry to get there!
