With the weather finally starting to get warmer, it’s time to find your drink of the summer. These are the best white wine at the LCBO for under $15.
Not only do these all taste good and are easy to drink with some light summer snacks, but they also won’t break your wallet.
Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio
With berry, cantaloupe and fruity pear on the nose, this is the perfect white to reach for during those summer months.
While it has a good body, it is not intensely sweet.
Pelee Island Lighthouse Riesling VQA
This is one of my favourites to grab all year long and is definitely the best white wine at the LCBO for under $15.
It is fresh and lively, with flavours of nuts, spice and honey.
Casal Garcia Vinho Verde DO
This is the best-selling vinho verde worldwide.
With lemon/lime, herbal, floral and nutty flavours, this wine is low in alcohol and quite refreshing.
Strewn Chardonnay Barrel Aged VQA
Made in Ontario, this local wine has flavours of vanilla, fig, and citrus.
It is low in sweetness with a clean finish.
20 Bees Pinot Grigio VQA
This vino is best served with lighter foods such as a grilled chicken salad.
It has flavours of grapefruit, floral and plum.
Cavit Collection Pinot Grigio delle Venezie IGT
Grown in northern Italy, this wine has flavours of green pear, light floral elements, cantaloupe and quince.
It is served well-chilled as an aperitif, or serve with pasta, veal, chicken or seafood.
