You’ll Have To Save Up For A While To Afford The LCBOs Most Expensive Wine

If you have ever wondered what the rich drink, this is probably it. If you want to get your hands on the most expensive drink at the LCBO, it’s going to take you a while to save up.

Priced at $11,500, the 2004 Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne has one of the biggest price tags you can find while shopping for your booze in Ontario.

In fact, it’s so elite that there are only two bottles in stock across the province.

So if you actually wanted to purchase it you would either have to travel to Yonge and Summerhill in Toronto or Cornwall and Trafalgar in Oakville.

The champagne,  which the website calls “rich and complex” was created by one of the most famous wine creators in France.

According to the company’s website, in 1876 their house wine caught the attention of Tsar Alexander II, who then asked that the drink be reserved for him each year.

So it looks like this wine really is suited for royalty.

Louis Roederer also has a variety of other wines in stock at the LCBO and while they don’t have a price tag as high as this champagne, they aren’t considered cheap.

You can try their rose for just over $110, while one of their other champagnes goes for just under $500.

So if you’re looking to try one of these specialty drinks, you might want to start saving now. And, if you change your mind, you can use that cash for something more valuable like a car or a downpayment on a home.

However, if you already live that luxurious lifestyle, you might want to stock up now before someone else clears the shelves of the last two remaining bottles.

If trying out the most expensive LCBO drink just isn’t for you, there are tons of cheaper options that you can reach for.
