With the weather finally starting to get warmer, it’s time to find your drink of the summer. These are the best white wine at the LCBO for under $15.
Not only do these all taste good and are easy to drink with some light summer snacks, but they also won’t break your wallet.
Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio
Price: $14.95
With berry, cantaloupe and fruity pear on the nose, this is the perfect white to reach for during those summer months.
While it has a good body, it is not intensely sweet.
Pelee Island Lighthouse Riesling VQA
Price: $11.95
This is one of my favourites to grab all year long and is definitely the best white wine at the LCBO for under $15.
It is fresh and lively, with flavours of nuts, spice and honey.
Casal Garcia Vinho Verde DO
Price: $11.00
This is the best-selling vinho verde worldwide.
With lemon/lime, herbal, floral and nutty flavours, this wine is low in alcohol and quite refreshing.
Strewn Chardonnay Barrel Aged VQA
Price: $14.95
Made in Ontario, this local wine has flavours of vanilla, fig, and citrus.
It is low in sweetness with a clean finish.
20 Bees Pinot Grigio VQA
Price: $10.95
This vino is best served with lighter foods such as a grilled chicken salad.
It has flavours of grapefruit, floral and plum.
Cavit Collection Pinot Grigio delle Venezie IGT
Price: $13.95
Grown in northern Italy, this wine has flavours of green pear, light floral elements, cantaloupe and quince.
It is served well-chilled as an aperitif, or serve with pasta, veal, chicken or seafood.
