You don’t need a passport to transport yourself to the Alps this winter. Drake Devonshire Inn, a hotel in PEC, has Fondue Fridays which are a total Alpine-Inspired afternoon.
Get bundled up in your hats, scarves and mitts and head on out to the Devonshire deck. Overlooking the water, the views alone are enough to make you want to try this spot out.
You’ll be seated in front of a crackling fire, where you can munch on traditional cheese fondue with all the dippings. If the flames don’t warm you up, you’ll also be given warm blankets and a drink menu.
Spiked cocktail options vary every week, but are sure to put you in the mood for an afternoon outdoors.
The event happens every Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and is expected to last until the end of March. You can make reservations ahead of time for the fondue on the PEC hotel website.
For two people, the cheese fondue will cost $24 plus tax (This price does not include any extras, like drinks, that you choose to order).
