Grab your wine glasses! The province is finally moving into step one this Friday and that means some Ontario wineries open this weekend.
We’ve compiled a list of some of the best spots across the province that you need to check out if you miss getting your vino fill.
From Niagara to Prince Edward County all of these local vineyards are ready to welcome you back with open arms.
Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery
Location: Niagara
This local spot will be open for both wine tasting and patio dining starting this Friday. Currently, the location is asking you to book in advance.
You can relax with a nice glass of white wine while overlooking the stunning vineyards at this hidden gem.
Fielding Estate Winery
Location: Beamsville
Fielding Estate Winery has announced that they will be opening for a soft launch this Friday at their Vineyard Lounge. They will be serving a limited menu for wine by the glass and cheese plates only.
The rest of the weekend will be walk-ins. The full wine by the glass, wine flight, and food service will be available beginning June 17th and the spot is already taking reservations.
Between the Lines Winery
Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake
If you’re looking to head out to Niagara-on-the-Lake this weekend, this is the spot to be. Between the Lines is officially opening on Friday for the BTL Classic Tasting, which included 5 samples per person.
This local spot is asking you to book your tastings in advance for $10.
Oxley Estate Winery
Location: Essex County
Oxley Estate Winery’s outdoor patio will officially open this Friday. The spot will be taking reservations as well as some walk-ins when space is available.
If you’re looking to do some wine tasting, it will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Sandbanks Winery
Location: Wellington
This local spot in Prince Edward County will be taking reservations only for both wine tasting and by the glass.
The indoor shop will also be open if you’re looking to pick up some bottles to take home with you.
Waupoos Estates Winery
Location: Picton
If you’re making a list of Ontario wineries open this weekend, you have to add this one to it.
Waupoos will open their outdoor garden starting on Friday and no reservations are required. You can walk in for wine flights, cheese & charcuterie and $5 drink specials as a part of their opening week.
Palatine Hills Estate Winery
Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake
Starting Friday, June 11th this local spot will be open from 11am to 6pm, no reservations needed.
You can enjoy the amazing views of the vineyards, while sipping some of their many wines!
