A Winery In PEC Will Transport You To The South Of France This Spring

Who says you need a passport to travel somewhere European this year? Waupoos Winery, nestled in the heart of Prince Edward County, will make you feel like you are in the South of France without having to travel outside of Ontario.

Situated right on the shores of Lake Ontario, this stunning estate was one of the first ever established in the region.

One of the best features of this place is the dock that sits right on the lake, where you can sip your wine while taking in the sights.

The beautiful water views aren’t the only thing that will make you feel like you’ve travelled outside of Ontario.

The estate is actually full of gorgeous stone statues and fountains that will make you feel like you are wandering through a royal garden in the 1800s. In fact, these statues are fit for a summer courtyard that was created for King Louis himself.

Once you are done wandering through the beautiful estate and soaking in those European vibes, there are a variety of other things that you can do at Waupoos Winery.

The vineyard also has a gorgeous patio where you can enjoy some delicious farm-to-table food. You can keep an eye on their website to see what they are serving. With rotating brunch, lunch and dinners throughout the seasons, you’ll always want to come back.

Not a fan of wine? The estate also offers an assortment of ciders that you can also choose from. From raspberry lemonade to rose ciders, the possibilities for the tart beverage seem endless.
