Trius Winery

This Niagara spot is considered one of the more popular vineyards in the province. If you’ve only visited one winery in your entire life, chances are it’s this one.
Trius not only has good wine to sip on, but there are so many gorgeous photo opportunities for you scattered throughout the property.
Huff Estates Winery
Location: Prince Edward County
Not only is this quaint spot full of gorgeous vineyards and rolling hills, it’s also a great place to stop for a bite to eat.
Equipped with a covered patio, you can enjoy a lunch full of mouth-watering pizza that has been cooked on their wood-fired stove. Yum!
Closson Chase Vineyards
Location: Prince Edward County
If your favourite colour is purple, you’ve probably already been to this adorable winery. The bright purple barn is the first thing you see when heading towards this spot.
Once inside, you’ll be greeted with a variety of delicious wine, as well as a gorgeous outdoor sipping area.
Small Talk Vineyards
Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake
Small Talk Vineyards will make you feel like you’ve been transported into a rainbow. Around every corner is another bright and colourful piece just waiting for you to take a picture with it.
This little spot not only offers wine, but also has so many ciders to choose from. Including, Peach Lite and Apples.
Viewpointe Estate Winery
Location: Essex County
If you love a good view, this is the spot to be this summer. This winery which is hidden in Essex County sits right on the lake and is the perfect spot to beat the heat.
It is usually known for doing delicious boozy slushies and presenting great live outdoor music. (Yet, make sure to check their website for what this summer will look like regarding COVID-19 restrictions)
Waupoos Estates Winery
Location: Prince Edward County
Waupoos Estates Winery is one place that you can’t leave off your list if you’re visiting Prince Edward County. The adorable spot is filled with gorgeous vineyards and stone statues that will transport you to the South of France.
On top of that, it’s also right on the water, giving you the perfect view to sip some wine and enjoy a plate of cheese.
Konzelmann Estate Winery
Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake
If you want to feel like a Disney princess, this is one of the best Ontario wineries around. The massive castle-like building will make you feel like you’ve been swept away in a fairytale.
On top of that, there is also an amazing lookout point, that shows breathtaking views of the endless vineyards.
Pelee Island Winery
Location: Essex County
While you need to take a ferry to get to this hidden winery, it is well worth the trip. Pelee Island Winery sits on Lake Erie and has amazing views of the water around it.
Once done at the winery, you can explore other parts of the adorable little island before heading back to the main land.
Broken Stone Winery
Location: Prince Edward County
One of the best wineries in Ontario includes Broken Stone in Prince Edward County. This little barn has staff that will make you feel like family and vineyards that go on for days.
In the summers, you can sip some wine, hang out on their tree swing and listen to some live music.
Peller Estates Winery
Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake
If you are a true wine lover, Peller Estates is a must add to your bucket list. While you’ve probably picked up a bottle of their wine from the LCBO, heading out to their vineyard is a much more exciting experience.
This local spot has tons of experiences to enjoy, including visiting their underground igloo, where you can sip on some of their famous ice wine.
