If you’re looking for a cozy escape, this quaint inn and restaurant in PEC is serving up the perfect afternoon tea experience.
The Waring House is a charming limestone home that was built in 1860. Since then, it has been transformed into a must-visit spot, all while keeping the centuries-old charm.
You’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time when you sit down in the Amelia’s Garden Dining Room – which overlooks the beautiful gardens of the estate.
Here, you’ll be able to enjoy a quaint afternoon tea. Served daily from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., you can choose from an array of Harney & Sons fine teas.
Once sipping on your warm drink, you’ll be served an assortment of traditional tea sandwiches (such as cucumber and butter, salmon and cream cheese, ham and mustard and more.)
You can also pair your tea with various scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and some tasty baked goods.
