The air is getting crisp and it is almost time to pull out those flannels. One Niagara brewery is getting seasonal by announcing its pumpkin ale, and it’s the perfect fall drink.
Exchange Brewery, which is nestled into the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, is known for its seasonal suds and interesting history.
The red-bricked building once used to be Niagara’s first telephone exchange, which is still honoured today by the way it numbers its beers.
When you order a flight, the drinks are even served on a circular platter that resembles an old rotary dial.
This week, the Niagara brewery announced it is launching its pumpkin ale again this year. Aged in large oak casks and fermented with its house Belgian yeast, the beer is the perfect time capsule of autumn.
Can are available to try in their tap room, through their online store and even with UberEats.

You can grab a 4-pack for $13.50, an 8-pack for $26.50 and a 24-pack for $75.00.
However, this isn’t the only flavour you can try the next time you make a visit to Exchange Brewery. They also have some other fun suds including the Plum Berliner Weisse which is fermented with 250 pounds of fresh Ontario blue plums.
Or, the Framboise Belgian Pale Ale which is aged 3 months in French oak barrels on fresh Niagara-on-the-Lake raspberries.
