It’s time to fill up that empty vase! A flower farm in Niagara will let you pick your own bouquet and there are so many different blooms to choose from.
Windecker Woods Flower Farm, which is located in Cayuga, is open seven days a week from June until October.
Upon arrival, you’ll get a pair of trimmers and a giant basket, where you can wander around the field and hand pick exactly what flowers you want in your bundle.
During August, you can spot some Zinnias and Dahlias front and center, with many different annuals and perennials joining in the colourful fun.
By September, you can also spot some new perennials blooming that will keep the fields looking full.
Cut as many flowers as you would like before wrapping them up in some paper and twine to bring home (They also have vases for purchase on-site as well).
