If you’re looking to start the summer off with a bang, you’ll want to check out this local event. Sip & Sizzle is coming back to Niagara this May and you’ll be able to eat and drink your way through the region.
Hosted by Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake, this event will take place every weekend throughout May.
You’ll have the option to stop in at over a dozen different wineries for some food and wine pairings.
Each vineyard will be offering a different experience and you’ll get the chance to try so many grilled creations.
You’ll get a taste of Italy if you head to Chateau des Charmes, where they will be offering fried Spinach and Ricotta Arancini, paired with their newly released 2020 Gamay Noir.
Or, you can embrace your love of cheese at Palatine Hills Estate. The vineyard will be serving up some deep-fried mac & cheese with a choice of crazy ketchup. It will be paired with their 2021 Lakeshore Rosé.

To view what all 20 wineries will be serving throughout the event, you can check the Sip & Sizzle Niagara website.
Depending on how many wineries you’re looking to hit up, you can purchase either an individual or a couples pass. The individual pass lets one person visit 16 wineries. While the couple passes will let two people visit 8 wineries.
Both passes are $75 plus tax and service fees. You can also spread your visits over the four three-day weekends, which means you don’t have to squeeze it all into one weekend if you don’t want to.
Tastings for Sip & Sizzle will be available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through May from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
