It’s time to add a little bit of colour to your life the next time you’re in the region. There is a conservatory in Niagara that will surround you with so many different kinds of butterflies.
The Butterfly Conservatory, located on the Niagara Parkway, has over 2,000 bright creatures fluttering throughout the facility.
You can wander around one of the largest glass-enclosed conservatories in North America to explore the tropical garden oasis.
The butterflies fly around freely throughout the space, so you can get up and close and personal. If you’re lucky a few of them will even land on you.
You can also explore all of the lush vegetation and trickling waterfalls that are scattered throughout the building.
“The facility includes an 11,000 square foot conservatory, video theatres, interactive displays and is also the teaching facility for the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture. It also includes laboratories and specialized greenhouses for rearing butterflies and growing,” reads the website.
