A Giant Winter Wine Festival Is Hitting PEC This Weekend

PEC Wine Festival

It’s time to grab your toques and hit the county! A winter wine festival will take over PEC this weekend and you won’t want to miss it.

Élevage Winter Wine Festival, hosted through the Prince Edward County Winegrowers Association, will take place from Saturday, February 17 until Sunday, February 18.

Throughout the event, you will be able to explore some seasonal fare, artisanal cheeses, local wine and some amazing ciders from across 16 different venues.

Each venue, which includes a mix of wineries and cideries, will be doing different activities and offering different food pairings, showcasing exactly what these winter months mean to them.

Some participating wineries include Broken Stone Winery, which will have fire-side hot dog roasting, mulled wine and adorable Babydoll sheep!

Lighhall Vineyards will be offering up some mimosas and charcuterie boards.

While Karlo Estates Winery will have a variety of events taking place including Bubble Brunch and Bitchin’ Bingo.

To view what every location is doing during the event, you can check out the PEC Wines website.

A passport to the winter wine festival in PEC costs $27.96 and includes five complimentary tastings. Many locations will also have food options available for an additional purchase.

You can also grab a combo ticket which includes the “Grand Tasting” that is taking place at Huff Estates on Sunday.
