You Can Have Lunch In The Vines At This Ontario Winery

If you’re looking for the perfect date idea this summer, you’ll want to have lunch at this Ontario winery. Gallucci Winery, which is located in Whitchurch-Stouffville, has announced that they are now taking reservations for their elevated food experience.

Lunch in the Vines will take place every Saturday and Sunday of the summer at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Opening day is May 27, 2023.

With their building nestled between rows of sprawling vineyards, you can have your meal outdoors, with endless views of the growing grapes.

The four-course meal will start with an antipasto of cured meats, cheese, and flatbread. You will then get your choice of penne pasta, followed by either Tuscan chicken breasts or eggplant melanzane alla parmigiana.

You’ll be able to finish the meal off with their crostata del giorno topped with citrus coulis.

The meal is $85 per adult and $55 per child, reservations can be made in advance on the winery’s website.

This Ontario winery has more than just lunch in the vines. You can also do tastings and tours. You can grab either flights of 4 or 6, which is the perfect way to sample their wines.

Or, explore the vineyards in a 45-minute tour. The experience will end with a structured tasting of four wines accompanied by four kinds of cheese.

With a sprawling terrace, a stone fountain and statues, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to somewhere more European. It’s the perfect summer trip.
