If your two favourite things are wine and autumn, then we have the place for you. Grab your flannel jackets and head on over to Ontario’s Puddicombe Estate and Farm. Located in Hamilton, Ontario this adorable winery has apple picking, pumpkins and even a cute train ride to enjoy every fall.
Established in the early 1900s as a fruit farm, this estate has transformed into the perfect location to add to your seasonal bucket list.
The spot has a winery where you can sample a variety of their red and whites. You can email or call to book your tasting in advance.
Once you’ve had some vino, you can enjoy all the other activities that the estate has to offer. Depending on what month you decide to stop by, you can either take part in their Apple-lee Fun or Halloween Ho-Down weekends.
From September 12 until October 4, this a-peel-ing spot has everything apple-related. On the weekends, you can pick your own apples, taste some ciders and roast some marshmallows by one of their many campfires.
If you are more of a pumpkin kind of gal or girl, then you might want to head down to this location closer to Halloween.
From October 10 to October 31, Ontario’s Puddicombe Estate will be hosting their seasonal spooky festival. You can pick your own orange fruits, trick-or-treat around the estate and listen to some live entertainment.
You can also take in the views with their seasonal train ride. Little Pudd, which is the original train from the world famous Crystal Beach Amusement Park, will travel through the vineyards, orchards and waterways.
Throughout the fall months the train is operating from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday.
If you’re looking for someone to do without leaving the city of Toronto, there are tons of cool bars that offer more than just drinks.
You can get tipsy while travelling through a 27 hole mini-golf course that will transport you right back to your childhood.
If retro arcade games are more your style, you can also head down to Tilt, which has pinball machines, skee ball and Mario Kart.
