Niagara Winery Is Having Stargazing Nights This Summer & The View Is Out Of This World

If your head is always in space, then it might be time to take a look up at the stars. One Niagara winery is now offering stargazing nights and you can sip vino under the sparkles of the night sky.

Calamus Estate Winery, located in Jordan, is hosting this special event throughout the summer in their Chronos Observatory Tower and vineyard.

The Members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada will be taking over the estate’s telescope to show guests exactly what’s happening above them.

Along with the stargazing, the Ontario winery will also serve a buffet dinner, followed by live music and lawn games in the vineyard.

The next event will be taking place on June 9th, where the dinner will include tomato feta salad, baked cheese tortellini, chicken sorrento, carved roasted top sirloin, vegetables and more. You’ll also start the night off with a special themed toasting cocktail.

The retail store will also be open so you can purchase wine by the bottle or by the glass to enjoy throughout the night.

The stargazing nights at this Niagara winery start at 6:30 p.m. and go until 11 p.m. with telescope viewing available from dark until the end of the night.

Tickets are currently $79 per person plus tax and can be purchased on their website. However, the winery says to act fast, as events sell out every year.
