With summer in full swing, we are all reaching for those icy drinks to help cool us down. If you’re a pink and wine lover, frose is the perfect boozy solution to beat the heat. We’ve compiled a list of the best frose in Toronto and it’s time to start sipping!
If you’re anything like me, rose is the perfect summer drink. I often find myself reaching for the sweet wine while on patios or having lunch at a local winery.
However, my new favourite boozy drink adds a little more ‘oomph’ to the rose-coloured vino. By adding some strawberries and blending together, this pink slushie will have you reaching for another glass.
Yet, if you’re from Toronto, you’ve probably noticed that it’s hard to find local restaurants that actually sell the beverage.
After some digging, we’ve compiled a list of the top five places in the 6ix to get your hands on frose.
Cabana
Believe it or not, the Cabana pool bar actually has more than just a place to swim. The waterfront patio features a variety of frozen drinks, including an amazing frose.
This fruity cocktail will transport you to the tropics. You can also get a variety of pub foods to go with it, such as fried chicken and pizza.
Cactus Club
Mixed with rose wine, strawberries, elderflower, Smirnoff vodka and lemon, this frose in Toronto is one of the best. You can sip the rose-coloured drink from the location’s patio rooftop, which offers stunning views of the 6ix’s skyline.
The venue also offers a Frose Sunset Soda and a Frose Sangria, making it the perfect location to get your fill or wine in slushy form.
Dave And Buster’s
While the popular Dave and Buster’s locations are often known for their arcade-style vibe, they also feature a variety of awesome cocktails.
The frose here is blended with Absolute Citron Vodka, strawberry puree and house-made sweet ‘n’ sour topped with a mini bottle of Barefoot Rosé wine.
They offer a variety of other cool drinks included the Green Ghost Glow Kones and the Dangerous Waters Island Punch.
King Taps
This hot Toronto spot not only offers frose, but also frozen sangrias and margaritas, making it the perfect place to cool down on a hot summer day.
If you head to the location during Happy Hour, you can get some of their drink menu for as low as $4.
Amsterdam Brewery
Sitting right on the Harbour Front, this food joint sells more than just beer. Their Aperol Frose includes a boozy combination of Aperol, McGuines triple sec, rosé wine
If you aren’t a suds kind of person, the brewery also features a variety of other cocktails including, Frozen Sangria, Berry Basil Smash and a Sparkling Pink Lemonade.
If rose just isn’t your style, you can also check out other places across the 6ix that sell some other over the top cocktails.
