With summer in full swing, it’s time to enjoy your wine outside. Oxley Estate is now letting you sip under a gorgeous arch of vines that will transport you to a magical paradise.
The winery, which is nestled right into the heart of Essex county, has opened its vine house for dining. Every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. you can have a meal while enjoying the view of the green canopy above you.
The patio menu is simple, yet delicious, with duck wings, cheese boards, burgers, flatbreads and more.
One fan favourite is the goat cheese flatbread, which comes loaded with BBQ asparagus, pickled red onion, apple molasses, and herb pesto.
The local spot also has so many different wines to choose from when you are there. You can sample some whites, reds and rosés.
Each wine also has a “music pairing” so you can listen along to a playlist while sipping your vino.
Suggested for you!
You can make reservations by heading to their website or giving them a phone call.
If you’re not in the mood for food, you can also just do a wine tasting as well from 11 – 5:30 daily.
Oxley Estate even has new wine flights for the summer, including the poolside, bold BBQ game changes and campfire nights.
The campfire nights come with a sample of Enchanté, Toast of the Town, Merlot Barrel Select, and Vidal Icewine.
You can also wander through the wine garden and take in the beauty of their gorgeous barn which was built in 1920. Or, you can enjoy their outdoor fireplace, weather permitting.
