If you’re the ultimate cheese lover, it’s about time that you build your own charcuterie board. Sandbanks Winery, located in Prince Edward County, is currently offering workshops every Friday to let you build the wooden cheese board of your dreams.
Hosted by Charcuterie Board Workshop Co., the workshop will help you learn some introductory woodworking skills, which will have you creating a masterpiece in no time.
Of course, while you’re de-barking, sanding and oiling your new kitchen accessory, you can also enjoy some of Sandbanks’ wine.
According to the vineyard’s website, the workshop will cost you $130 and will include the charcuterie board that you can take home with you, as well as a selection of wine to sip on.
You can go on a date with your S/O, and book a couples ticket for $200. While the two of you will be enjoying the workshop together, you will only be making one board.
If you want to participate, you can book your spot in advance.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, this event will take place outdoors in a tented area, so dress according to the weather.
Once you’re done making your cheese board, you can also enjoy the spot’s live music in the vineyards from 4 to 7 p.m. every Friday night in the summers.
Grab another glass of wine and some cheese to match your new kitchen accessory and enjoy the songs of local artists from around the county.
