With Ontario being in lockdown, there are a few things that we have been missing. One of them being our wine tasting adventures. However, if you’re looking for your next fun date night, Between The Lines Winery has announced that they are now doing virtual wine tastings.
Located in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, this winery offers a variety of flavours that are sure to please any vino lover, and now you can bring the experience to you without changing out of your pyjama bottoms.
According to the company’s website, all you need to do is reserve your day (at least seven days in advance) and you’ll be able to hop on a private zoom tasting with one of their wine educators or makers.
Once you reserve your tasting, go to the vineyards shop and order some bottles to be delivered to your home. Once done, one of their employees will reach out to you to set up your virtual date.
Currently, the cost of the tasting is $35 for one private zoom tasting for two or more people. The price also includes one of Between The Lines T-shirts.
This adorable spot offers a variety of flavours to choose from including Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cab Franc, Ice Wine and some Reserves.
With bottles ranging from $9.00 to over $50, you can choose your own budget when booking the virtual tasting.
However, if you’re looking for something a little more intimate without the company of a wine maker, you can always just pick up some wine to bring home.
The LCBO has a variety of wines under $20 and $10, that will let you create your own wine tasting experience at home. You can even pick up some cheese from your local grocery store to transform your evening into a wine and cheese event.
