It’s time to get outside this summer. You can now watch movies under the stars at a Niagara drive-in and it’s the perfect date night.
Skyway Drive-in Theatre (which was formerly known as Can-View) reopened on April 6 and is showing some of the must-see movies of the season.
Open four days a week, (Thursday to Sunday) you’ll be able to watch back-to-back films from the back of your car.
Located in Thorold, the theatre has a super vintage look and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported right back into the 50s.
This month, you’ll be able to catch films like Super Mario Bros., Champions, Cocaine Bear, John Wick: Chapter 4 and more. You can view the full schedule of movies on the Niagara Drive-In website.
Tickets can also be purchased in advance through their website. Each one is sold on a per-car basis. Depending on how many people are in your car, prices can range between $13-$24 for a double feature.

The theatre also has tons of food that you can enjoy throughout the movies. According to the menu, you can grab some classics like popcorn, funnel cakes, cotton candy, soft drinks and more.
On top of that, there are also hot foods, such as french fries, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, and chilli. So you’ll be able to chow down while watching your favourite characters on the big-screen.
