It’s time to stop and smell the flowers. One farm in Niagara lets you stroll through stunning fields of sunflowers this summer and you can even take some of the blooms home.
Howells Farm, located in Fonthill, has over a quarter of a million blooms and is the perfect photo opportunity.
While you’re wandering through the never-ending yellow, you can stop to pose with the many chairs, tractors and other props that are sprinkled around the farm. It will truly transport you somewhere a little more magical.
Sunflowers start blooming in July and continue through August. To take part in the festival, it will cost $17 per person. The price includes entrance to the field and one fresh-cut sunflower of your choosing.
The farm states that all tickets need to be purchased in advance, and can be done on their website.
While you are there, you can also stop at their Howells Beer & Wine Garden. Not only can you enjoy a variety of booze, but they also have great food.

You can munch on so many poutine flavours, including traditional, vegan, nacho, baked potato and more!
For dessert, you can try some of the farm’s famous pumpkin donuts that are made from scratch every day.
