This Natural Wonder In PEC Has Endless Views Of The Water & Is Bucket List-Worthy

It’s time to add this natural wonder in PEC to your bucket list. Lake on the Mountain is the spot to be this summer with endless views of sparkling water.

Situated 60 metres above Lake Ontario, this spot is a constant mystery in the area. It has a constant flow of clean, fresh water, with no apparent source of how it gets there.

On the shores, you can get views of the Bay of Quinte, the Glenora Ferry and the north shore below.

If you head into the provincial park, there are some great spots to set up a picnic for the day. Or, you can canoe and fish in the area as well.

Outside of the park, there is also the Lake on the Mountain Resort. If you’re feeling hungry, you can check out the company’s Miller House, which has one of the most picturesque views in the county.

You can enjoy some food and drinks al fresco on their patio while looking at the waters beneath you.

Once you’re done lunch, you can head over to the Lake on the Mountain brewery, which has been creating small batch beer since 2007.

You can also turn your visit into an over-nighter with the cottages on the lake. Currently, there are seven buildings that are situated on the shores of this natural wonder in PEC.

During the warmer months, you can relax and swim in the fresh waters and stroll through the area, before calling it a night.
