You can travel back in time this Mother’s Day weekend. Nelles Manor Museum in Niagara will let you enjoy afternoon tea in their gorgeous historic house.
The heritage home, which was originally built by Colonel Robert Nelles, is 225 years old and is filled to the brim with charm.
The Nelles family is known for fighting in both the American Revolution as well as the War of 1812, with the house being built from 1788 to 1798.
Now, you are able to tour the museum to learn more about the family as well as the history of Grimsby. The spot also hosts multiple events.
On May 13, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., you’ll be able to sit down for some delicious tea and finger foods.
With seatings for 2, 4 or 6 guests, each table will be named for mothers and daughters of the Nelles family.

On top of having afternoon tea in the Niagara house, there will also be a fashion show by Donna’s Fashions to enjoy.
Tickets are limited and can be purchased in advance through Eventbrite. Each one costs $43.93. Most tables are already sold out, so act fast!
If you miss out on tickets, you can also visit the museum from Wednesday to Sunday. General admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children.
