This Ontario Restaurant Is A Stunning Converted Church With Stained Glass Windows

The province is filled with tons of unique spots to check out and one Ontario restaurant, which is a stunning converted church, is a must-try place.

The Revival House, located in Stratford, has stained glass windows and arching ceilings which will transport you to somewhere a little more magical.

Formerly known as the Mackenzie Memorial Gospel Church the building was first built in the 1870s and still holds much of its history today.

Now, the Revival House has taken over and the kitchen focuses on reimagined Thai-fusion Canadian dishes for lunch, brunch and dinner.

On top of that, the spot also has an expansive list of cocktails, wines, and Ontario craft beers to try.

For dinner, some of the must-try items on the menu include spicy Thai noodles, garlic sausage rigatoni, seafood mac & cheese, lamb, and butter chicken.

They also have multiple pizzas to choose from, such as spinach & feta, chicken caesar, jerk chicken and Lazio pizza.

For weekend brunches, this converted church restaurant in Ontario serves up some eggs benedict, a maple Reuben, chicken & waffles, caramelized brie, a breakfast pizza (which comes with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and sausage) and more.

You can either enjoy your meal indoors, which has a moody and romantic atmosphere. Or you can eat on their hidden patio during the summer months, which is covered in gorgeous flowers and plants.

You can currently make reservations on the company’s website, which is recommended. However, if you don’t feel like going out you can also order takeout as well.
