This Century-Old Barn In PEC Serves Up Amazing Cocktails & Bites

A new distillery opened in Prince Edward County this summer and has served amazing cocktails and bites ever since.

Located in a century-old barn, Wild Lot Farm Distillery has transformed the space into the newest hangout spot. Indoors, the barn has a cozy loft where you can kick back and relax on couches, picnic tables and more all year long.

The spot also has a sprawling outdoor space that you can enjoy depending on the weather. It even has a firepit to keep you warm on those cooler fall days.

Once you’re comfortable, you can choose from their sprawling drink list which includes their own cocktails, spirits and hard seltzers.

The spirits come in some interesting flavours that are worth a try, like their espresso liqueur, garlic & habanero liqueur and spicy hot pepper vodka (they also have some classic vodkas and gin to try as well.)

When it comes to cocktails, you’ll want to try more than just one. Go for a classic gin and tonic, spicy Caesar, negroni or martini. The seltzers are also a must with cherry juice, peach & white tea, and pear juice & chai tea flavours.

If you’re feeling hungry, you can order some sandwiches and soups at their bar. With classics like a Reuben, Spicy Italian Cold Cut and a Vegetarian Caprese Sandwich, it’s a great lunch stop.

You can also snack on some local corn chips with dips like salsa and hummus. Or, have some assorted charcuterie meats and cheeses.

You can view the full menu of both food and drinks on the PEC distillery’s website. Wild Lot is currently open Wednesdays to Sundays and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
