It’s time to lace up! Wayne Gretzky Estates, a popular Niagara winery and distillery, has opened up its ice rink and it’s the perfect place to skate this winter.
This spot is paying tribute to the roots of hockey. Every winter, the massive pond that sits in the middle of the estate turns into something a bit more magical.
With twinkling lights above, this skating rink is the perfect spot for a lap or two. Whether you’re looking to go with a group of friends or a significant other, it’s a great way to spend the day.
The spot even has an outdoor bar where you can relax afterwards. With a selection of tasty cocktails and wine, you can warm up under one of their patio heaters.
If you’re feeling hungry, there is also a selection of winter snacks that you can enjoy at the bar during your visit.
According to the estate, the rink opened on December 19 and will be open throughout the rest of the season, weather permitting.

Admission is $5 per guest and you are encouraged to bring your own skates. If you don’t have any, a limited amount of rentals are available for $10 per pair.
