Attention singles! If you’re looking for something to do in Niagara this Valentine’s Day, you can head on out to Tawse Winery. The estate is hosting a speed dating night where you can sip on wine and meet new people.
On February 14, you’ll be able to spark up conversation over a mystery flight. While trying to guess exactly what you are sipping on, you also have the possibility of meeting someone special in the process.
The dates may be short, but you might be leaving the night with a long burning connection.
After the speed dating rounds are finished, you’ll be able to continue to strike up some conversations in the cellar and enjoy some light snacks. Wine by the glass will also be offered.
The event takes place from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and is $35 per person. The ticket comes with four complementary wine samples and some charcuteries.
You’ll also get 20% off any retail bottles you choose to purchase while you are there.

According to the winery, the event is open to anyone between the ages of 25 and 45. You can register by emailing h.mckinney@tawsewinery.ca, space is limited.
The gorgeous estate is also open daily for drop-in tastings, flights or a glass. So you can check out the vineyard anytime throughout the year.
In the summer, the spot has a hidden courtyard where you can listen to live music and be transported into a fairytale.
