Sip Wine & Make Your Own Candle At A Niagara Vineyard This Fall

It’s time to treat yourself! A candle workshop is coming to Niagara this fall and you’ll be able to make your own creation while sipping on some wine.

T Light Creations has announced its “Wicks and Wine” event, which will be taking place this November at the popular Leaning Post Wines.

During the event, you’ll be able to make your own custom candle, choosing the scent from a variety of Sage’s natural essential oils. You can even make your own custom scent by mixing and matching.

You can bring your own vessel to hold your candle or purchase one while you’re at the event. Some popular choices include tea cups, pots and other vintageware. (Advice on how to choose a heat-resistant vessel will come after signing up.)

Throughout the night, you’ll also be able to sip on a flight of wines, making it the perfect friends outing this fall.

Once your candle is created, it’s time to let it cure. During that time, there will be some pop-up stores by Sage and T Light Creations that you can browse.

The event takes place from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. on November 18 and tickets are $42 per person.

You can purchase your tickets in advance through the company’s website.

Not into candles? You can also check out Learning Post Wines another time. The spot offers both tastings and wine by the glass, making it the perfect stop on your next vineyard tour.
