If you love bubbly, you won’t want to miss this event! A Niagara winery is hosting a poutine & prosecco(ish) day, where you can sip sparkling wine and eat your favourite Canadian treat.
GreenLane Estate Winery has announced that they will be hosting the event to celebrate International Women’s Day, and it will take place on Saturday, March 4, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
As a female-run winery, they will kick off the special occasion with a release party for the Sisterhood Sparkling Series.
You’ll start the day by sampling their “Severine” Sparkling Riesling, followed by the new Saffron” Sparkling Rose and “Carrie” Sparkling Merlot.
Each sampling of wine will be paired with a poutine, making it the perfect Canadian outing.
After you are done, you can continue the party with live music and fireside wine by the glass.
Suggested for you!
Tickets are $20 per person (or free for The Collective, GreenLane’s Wine Club). The price includes entry to the event, three samples of wine and the poutine. You can buy your tickets in advance through the winery’s website.
If you can’t make it to the Niagara winery for poutine, you can also stop by when they offer regular tastings, cheese pairings, and chocolate pairing tastings.
They are open from Wednesday to Sunday and also have weekly events including Fireside Fridays and Sangria Sundays.
