A Hidden Restaurant In Niagara Will Transport You To Italy & Is Super Romantic

You don’t need to hop on a plane for your next Italian getaway. This hidden restaurant in Niagara is the perfect spot to check out next time you’re looking for a romantic date night.

Situated in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ruffino’s Pasta Bar & Grill is located in a plaza and looks unassuming on the outside. However, once you step foot inside you are transported to a whole new world.

You are immediately greeted with glowing candles, a wood-burning brick oven and friendly staff. It will truly feel like you’ve found your own hidden oasis.

While the atmosphere is amazing, it isn’t the best part of this Italian restaurant in Niagara. It’s the food. Everything is housemade, and the pasta is one of the best things on the menu.

The Pork Ragu A La Bolognese is a must try, with rigatoni and parmigiano reggiano.

They also have a variety of pizzas to choose from including pepperoni and the Daniella. (which comes with roasted garlic, rappini, preserved lemon, potato and rosemary)

For an appetizer, sourdough is one of the best options. The bread is baked fresh in their wood-fired oven every day.

Once you’re done, you can finish off your day with some in-house gelato, chocolate panna cotta or their tiramisu.

However, this isn’t the only restaurant in Niagara that is worth checking out.

If you’re looking for something different, Karma Kameleon Gastropub in Thorold is the place to check out.

They have caesars the size of your head that come topped with jalapeno grilled cheese, chicken wings, housemade Korean mini corn dogs, housemade meatballs, a truffle mushroom brie slide, and more.
