It’s time for an a-maize-ing autumn. A pumpkin patch in Ontario not only lets you pick your own gourds but also has a ginormous corn maze that you can get lost in.
Strom’s Farm & Bakery, which is located in Guelph, is the perfect place to go if you’re looking to have the ultimate fall experience. Start the day by hand-picking your own pumpkins and checking out the grounds.
Some harvest activities include a sand pit, human foosball court, a basketball wagon, pumpkin chuckin’ and a wagon ride.
However, the main activity that you do not want to miss is their famous corn maze, which has over 5 kilometres of paths to get lost in.
Every year, the maze changes shape to honour a new charitable organization to support. This year, admission proceeds go to Hospice Wellington.
Once you are finally able to navigate your way out of the winding husks of corn, you can also check out the spot’s bakery.
Suggested for you!
They have so many baked goods to choose from, including their butter tarts (which are made from scratch.)
You can also pick up some pies, cookies and ice cream sandwiches.
For a more spookier experience, you can also check out Strom’s Night Maze, where you can wander through the dark fields with nothing but your flashlight.
During the night, there will also be fire pits to enjoy, as well as s’mores and soft pretzels for sale.
The Ontario corn maze and harvest fun area are open from September 21 until October 30.
