On the eleventh day of Christmas, Tipsy Theory gave to me a peppermint mimosa recipe.
If you’re looking for the perfect holiday drink for your next brunch, make sure to try out these festive cocktails.
While a mimosa usually consists of some sparkling wine and orange juice, this recipe has a little bit of a twist to it. Throw out your fruit juice and swap it for something a little harder. (After all, you’ll need something a little stronger to make it through your next family function).
All you need to do is add some peppermint flavoured vodka and a candy cane to your drink and you will think you’ve ended up in the North Pole.
Combine this with some Christmas pancakes or leftover turkey sandwiches, and you’ll never want to turn back to your normal mimosas again.
If you’re looking to turn this into a full year recipe, you can always swap out the peppermint for something a little more fruity, such as apple or raspberry vodka. Regardless of what you choose, it will be perfect for that Sunday afternoon pick-me up.
Happy sipping!
