It’s time to get cheesy. A local PEC winery is serving up fondue this March and it’s the perfect way to enjoy the last of the chilly weather.
Trail Estate Winery is a stunning vineyard that focuses on making organic and low-intervention wines. With a variety of whites, reds, and unique blends, there is something for everyone to sip on.
Every Saturday this March they will also be serving up a cheesy treat to pair with their wines.
The fondue will be served with Ralph’s Maple Sausage, Stonetown Cheese, Small Scale Bread, apples, and pickles.
No reservations are required, seating is offered on a first come, first served basis. Wine flights and wines-by-the-glass are available to enjoy.
Trail Estate Winery is offering up the snack as part of Prince Edward County’s March Maple Madness. As well as a yummy Maple Pét Nat Cocktail feat. Kinsip Brandy.

The maple event runs every weekend throughout the month and multiple wineries, restaurants and sugar shacks are participating.
Each business is tasked with highlighting Maple Syrup in the form of a tasty drink or menu item.
Fried chicken and maple waffles, maple flavoured gelato and a maple whisky sour are just some of the creations that other businesses are coming up with.
