Calling all tea lovers! Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel in Niagara has transformed into a magical winter wonderland for the season and you can now enjoy your afternoon tea in a whole new way.
Every Friday to Sunday from noon until 4 p.m., you can reserve your own glowing dome or cabin and warm up with a steaming cup of brew and some tasty treats.
Both structures are heated and can seat parties of two to six people. However, the inn still recommends you dress for the weather since they are outside.
Currently, their menu offers a big selection of sandwiches (such as egg salad and cucumber & cream cheese), scones, pastries (such as tarts, lavender macaroons, and house-baked shortbread), and cheese boards.
You can also choose from the Tealise Organic Tea selection. However, if you’re looking for something with a little more kick, you can add on some bottomless mimosas for $36.
If you’re looking to grab some afternoon tea anytime soon, reservations need to be made in advance through their website.
A $50 deposit will also be collected at the time of your reservation and will be applied to your payment.
Old Stone Inn also does brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends where you can snack on their Caramelized Grilled Cheese, Roasted Heirloom Beet and more.
If you’re already in Niagara, you can check out other toasty things to do in the area. Wayne Gretzky winery lets you rent out your own fireside cabana near the skating rink where you can sample some warm and boozy drinks.
Konzelmann Estates also lets you sip wine and roast some s’mores by an open fire. The new Fireside Flights Outdoor experience is $30 per person and you can spend 45 minutes cozied up beside your own private fire pit. (Snuggled up in a blanket that you get to take home with you)
