For all those fall beer drinkers, Oktoberfest is coming back to Ontario and you won’t want to miss it. The Kitchener–Waterloo Oktoberfest is an annual nine-day event and is named Canada’s largest Bavarian Festival.
Taking place from Friday, September 23 to Saturday, October 15 there are multiple events that will be happening throughout the city, including the Official Keg Tapping on Friday, October 7th.
You can also enjoy beer and delicious Bavarian cuisine from the German Clubs and local restaurant partners of the festival.
Throughout the week, you can take part in multiple events that will be scattered around the region.
On September 24, you can check out the first ever Oktoberfest Market Festival, where there will be food, live entertainment, a beer garden and more.
The beer garden will feature local breweries, where you can sip your way throughout the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

Or, you can party at the Oktoberfest 2022 at Habsburg Haus. Happening multiple times throughout the event, you’ll be able to partake in an authentic experience.
The kitchen will be serving up some popular meals including schnitzel and cabbage rolls.
There will also be live music and performances by the Alpine Dancers and Transylvania Club Dancers.
Ticket prices for this event range from $16 to $21, depending on which day you choose.
This Oktoberfest in Ontario also has some virtual events that you can try out as well. On September 17, you can participate in an online cooking course that will teach you how to make your own apple fritters.
