It’s time to celebrate! Reif Estate Winery in Niagara is hosting a Mardi Gras party this March and you’ll be transported to the streets of New Orleans.
From March 18-19 and March 25-26, you’ll be able to celebrate the holiday in style with the vineyard and Tide & Vine catering. Hosted in the “Black Cellar” you’ll be able to sip on some local wine with some New Orleans-inspired food pairings.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a true celebration without the classic Mardi Gras masks and beads, which you’ll spot on some of the staff.
Start off with some Andouille Sausage paired with Gamay Cabernet Merlot. Some other options to choose from include ‘Dirty Rice’ paired with Cabernet Merlot, Muffuletta paired with Chardonnay Steel, and Shrimp & Grits paired with Riesling.
Tickets for the event are $25 plus tax and will include 3 tokens that you can redeem for food items and 3 tokens which you can redeem for wine.
If you want to keep the party going a little longer, you can also purchase additional tokens on-site, especially if you want to be able to sample the entire menu.
Suggested for you!
You can purchase your Mardi Gras tickets in advance through the Niagara winery’s website. It’s important to note that the passes are only valid for a single day of your choosing.
Reif Estate Winery is also open for regular tastings if you want to stop by another time. You can enjoy a flight of four popular vinos in the winemaker’s private loft.
