It’s time to grab a warm hat and your favourite pair of fuzzy socks! This Niagara winery snowshoe tour lets you explore the beauty of the vineyards in the winter.
If you’re looking for something to do to finish off the season, Thirty Bench Wine Makers will make you feel like you’re in a snowglobe.
You will be able to trek through the Riesling vineyards while learning tips and tricks from a local snowshoe expert.
After wandering around and slowly getting the hang of your snowshoes, you’ll be able to enjoy a warm cup of soup at the end of the tour.
On top of that, you will get to sample some of their wine and even take home a Thirty Bench souvenir wine glass.
Currently, the vineyard is taking reservations for these tours on weekends only, starting at 11:30 a.m. The tour will be around 2 hours, so make sure to dress warm enough for the weather!
You can currently book slots through their website. It’s $60 per guest (or $50 if you are a Wine Club member)
However, this Niagara winery snowshoe tour isn’t the only spot that is offering up some wintry experiences.
Konzlemann Estates will now let you roast some s’more and sip wine by your own personal fire.
The Fireside Flights Outdoor experience is $30 per person and you can spend 45 minutes cozied up beside your own private fire pit. (Snuggled up in a blanket that you get to take home with you)
Or you can check out Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel, where you can reserve your own glowing dome or cabin for some afternoon tea.
Their menu consists of sandwiches, scones, pastries, cheese boards, teas and even bottomless mimosas. Reservations are needed though, and you can book them in advance through their website.
