The Niagara region is home to a variety of fresh products, including strawberries, peaches, pears and apples. From June until September, many farms will open their doors to the public to take home some of their harvest.

Just make sure to check the farms’ websites to see what is in season when you plan on visiting, as it differs from year to year.

Many of these farms are also more than just a picking ground- you can sample wines, enjoy tractor rides, snack on goodies from their bakeries and more!

Here Are The Best Farms Around Niagara To Pick Your Own Fruit

Bry-Anne Farms

📍 471 Foss Rd, Fenwick

In the earlier summer months, you can head over to this farm to pick your own strawberries and raspberries. You can also pick your own tomatoes at the end of August.

This farm is also a great place to visit in the fall with The Great Pumpkin Patch – where you can purchase pumpkins, take a hayride and get lost in their straw maze.

Puddicombe Farms, Winery & Cider

Puddicombe, located a short drive from the Niagara region in Hamilton, is a must-visit. Not only can you pick your own fruit, but you can also do tastings of their wine and check out their cafe.

Some fruits you can pick include cherries, pears, apples and pumpkins. You can also pick up a variety of other produce in their shop.

Cherry Avenue Farms

📍 4303 Cherry Ave, Vineland

This local spot in Vineland is a great place to visit. With a cute red barn and tractor rides to the orchards, it’s quite an experience.

This spot has a variety of fruit to pick, depending on the month you can grab peaches, cherries, apricots, plums, pears and nectarines.

Parkway Orchards

📍 15000 Niagara River Pkwy, Niagara-on-the-Lake

Parkway Orchards is one of the hottest spots to go for fruit picking. Located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, you can wander through their stunning fields to pick some peaches.

Depending on the season, you can also pick up cherries, plums, nectarines and apples.
