On the seventh day of Christmas, Tipsy Theory gave to me a gingerbread coffee recipe.
If you’re looking for a little something to spice up your morning routine, this holiday drink is a must-try. With just the perfect amount of ginger, you will feel like you are sipping Christmas out of a cup.
This boozy-caffeine kick is perfect for that long week of family get-togethers, where you need something a little extra to help get you through. Whether in the morning, afternoon, or a late-night wrapping session, this recipe has got you covered.
To make it even more sweet, be sure to give yourself a heaping dollop of whip-cream on top.
If you’ve already done some holiday baking, you’ll already have all of these ingredients in your pantry.
What You Need For This Gingerbread Coffee Recipe
Serves: 1
- 1 brewed cup of coffee (We use Starbuck’s True North blend on Keurig)
- A dash of coconut milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of ginger
- 1/2 a teaspoon of ground cloves
- 1 oz of Willibald Gingerbread Gin
- Coconut whipped cream
- cinnamon stick
This recipe is easily flexible, any form of coffee or dairy product can be swapped out to match your preferences.
How To Make It:
1- Pour your brewed coffee into a mug.
2- Add a dash of coconut milk, cloves and ginger into the mug and stir.
3- Add the gingerbread gin and combine.
4- If desired, add a dollop of coconut whipped cream and a cinnamon stick for garnish.
5- Enjoy!
