There’s A Giant Hot Chocolate Trail Coming To Niagara With 23 Unique Flavours

Hot Chocolate Trail Niagara Falls

Calling all sweet tooths! A hot chocolate trail is coming to Niagara this winter and you can sip your way through those cold, snowy days.

Run through the Winter Festival of Lights, the self-guided tour will let you visit 17 different spots across Niagara Falls with 23 unique and delicious flavours to try (some even have booze to give you that extra kick.)

From good old classic flavours to more creative flavours, you’ll have to head out on multiple days to be able to try them all.

Some spots you won’t want to miss include Denny’s, which will be serving up two different boozy flavours: Cinnamon Roll and Baileys Hot Chocolate.

Red Ganache lets you choose from Hazelnut, Lavender and Roasted Marshmellow flavours, while the Great Room at Marriott on the Falls will have a Bullit Bourbon Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate.

If you’re looking for something classic, BeaverTails will be serving up your favourite sweet drink. While Hershey’s Chocolate World has a simple Candy Cane Hot Chocolate.

Depending on where you stop, the steamy drinks can range from $2 to $16. You can view the entire Niagara menu and prices on the hot chocolate trail website.

The event takes place from November 18, 2023, until January 7, 2024, so there is lots of time to explore.

Looking for more to do the next time you are in Niagara Falls? You can check out the rest of the Winter Festival of Lights. With 3 million twinkling bulbs around the city, there are many magical corners to discover.

You can drive through a glowing park, wander under sparkling tunnels and pose next to life-sized Christmas decorations. There will also be 26 nights of fireworks to enjoy and the “Sparkling Winter Lights” Falls Illumination.
