Calling all vino lovers! If you’re looking for something to do this September, why not head out to the biggest wine festival in the nation? Niagara’s Grape & Wine Festival is taking over the streets next month and it’s the perfect stop for everyone who can’t get enough of the delicious purple drink.
Get your wine glasses ready! From September 11 until September 27, you can explore the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake at this epic festival.
The yearly event will allow guests to explore the multiple vineyards that surround the area as well as enjoy some live music and an amazing street parade.
This year, if you’re looking to celebrate in person, you’re going to want to buy the Discovery Pass in advance. For $49 you can travel to eight wineries of your choice, where you will be able to taste some vino and sample some of their best food pairings.
It’s encouraged that you book your locations in advance, so you can skip the lines and have your tastings in some of their private rooms.
Once you are done sampling wine from some of your favourite venues, there are multiple other events that you can participate in during this festival.
According to the festival’s website, on September 19 and 26 you can bring the party to your own backyard by tuning in to the Montebello Park concert.
Online, you can listen to a variety of headliner acts while dancing away in your own garden.
You can also be sure to register online to have a chance to get a glimpse at the popular Niagara’s Grape & Wine festival parade.
If you are unable to check out this event, there are a variety of other ways that you can visit Niagara this fall.
