You Can Dine In Twinkling Domes In St. Jacobs This Winter

While it may feel like the North Pole, you’re actually just in an adorable Ontario town. Village Biergarten in St. Jacobs has transformed its outdoor patio into multiple twinkling domes to enjoy this winter.

Covered in sparkling lights and festive decor, these igloos are the perfect place if you are looking to transport yourself to a winter wonderland.

You can cuddle up and keep warm while enjoying the views of the quaint town from your own personal spot.

Already open to the public, the domes will be available throughout the season and are located in one of the region’s largest patios.

The St. Jacobs domes will be serving a variety of eats, along with local craft beer, wine, cider and spirits.

According to their menu, you can start the night off with some shareables including the fresh pretzel, calamari, wings and nachos.

For mains, some fan favourites include the fish tacos, which come with beer-battered cod, served with paprika mayo, radish, pineapple pico de gallo and pickled jalapeno.

Or, the Jakobstettel Schnitzel with is topped with pineapple apple slaw and served with their hand-cut fries with mustard aioli.

The local spot has both gluten-friendly and dairy-friendly options.

You can reserve a dome through the company’s website. Each bubble holds eight people and reservations last for 1 hour and 45 minutes. No pets are allowed.
